Rest and be Refreshed
Rest and be refreshed, these are the words written on the welcome notes delicately placed on my bedside table upon arrival of the Adventures Guatemala Base last Friday.
Three words I hadn’t even contemplated during my preparation for the trip.
Three words I didn’t know I needed.
Three words I needed more than anything else.
So often in ministry we do do do without even thinking. We are doers. We are helpers. We are feelers. We are fixers. We are so many things. We DO so many things. But He’s asking us just to BE.
To BE with Him.
To BE in His presence.
To rest and be refreshed.
Will you take time to rest and be refreshed in His presence today?
